This is a website of the Reformed Druids of North America. It was constructed for the sole purpose of information sharing and data redistribution and will have no personal comments or sidebars. This is not a personal website. Within these pages you will find the ARDA 1 and 2 in .pdf and .doc versions available for download. A list of RDNA grove websites will be available and the RDNA groves webring will be listed here. You can find the history of the druid sigil, Bardic contests, as well as other RDNA activities and information. The RDNA traces back to 1963 at Carleton College in Northfield, MN USA, some students objected to a mandatory attendance of religious services, so they protested by making Reformed Druid group and attending it regularly. The requirement was thus mocked and was withdrawn. Members found it enriching and continued to participate in the group in order to explore world faiths and personal paths in an open and honest way. As they graduated, they started groups in other states. By the 1980s there were about 10 groves scattered across the country. Then Isaac Bonewits left to form Ar nDraiocht Fein (ADF) Druidism, which later splintered and soon Henge of Keltria Druidism appeared. Nowadays, there are lots of sophisticated groups in America that can trace their roots to RDNA. | ||||||||
